What does /var/log/sogo/sogo.log say when you try to authenticate? Show us a LDIF entry of that newly created user (use slapcat if you want to dump it).
As a side note, there are several small mistakes in the welcome page of the ZEG server VM (such as "browser" above, should be "browse"). Should I file bug reports for such small stuff or is the mailing list enough ?
Bug reports would be better.
