Hi,

2012/2/7 André Schild<[email protected]>:
I think they should NOT show up in funambol webapp!

Usually this means that the SyncML clients are using some default sync
source names,
and not the newly added ones.

When you did install the sogo connector in funambol server, you did create
two
new sync urls. (Probably sogo-card and sogo-cal)
Lets get this straight: I need to use some other URL than
http://sogo.mysogodomain.tld:8080/funambol/ds for syncing the SOGo
items?

This is what I have configured for the sync client at the moment:

Location: http://sogo.mysogodomain.tld:8080/funambol/ds
Username: [email protected]
Password: ****

And this is what I did with funamboladmin:

Modules> sogo> FunambolSOGoConnector> SOGo SyncSource
# added sogo-cal, sogo-todo, sogo-event and sogo-card like this:
Source URI: sogo-card
Name: sogo-card
Supported type: text/x-vcard
Database URL: jdbc:postgresql://127.0.0.1/sogo
Database username: sogo
Database password: sogo

But in Windows Sync Client under "Account" I can configure only one
Location, so if every resource (calendar, contacts) need a different
URL, it is not possible to configure them?
... not looked recently at the funambol client for Outlook, but could be true that you can't change it.

A SyncML client needs these:

1. A URL to access the SyncML server
    For example: http://sogo.mysogodomain.tld:8080/funambol/d

2. Per "Type" which can be synchronized a corresponding source URI.
Like sogo-card, sogo-cal, calendar, contacts etc.

On the server you can have multiple identical sogo sources showing up under different URI's.
So you best also add the URI the standard funambol clients use.
I don't have them at hand for the moment

Hmm, now looking at Windows Sync Client settings, I see that there is
also for each item an Advanced setting, for example for Calendar there
is :

Advanced
Remote name: event
Data format: vCalendar

Should this be sogo-event instead?
Yes

BTW what is the difference between sogo-event and sogo-cal? As there
was a synsource type for both I created both but which one actually is
handling the calendar events?
According to the Sogo install documentation you should create these 3 sources:

http://www.sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGo%20Installation%20Guide.pdf

Source URI: sogo-card
Name: sogo-card
Supported type: text/x-vcard
Database URL: jdbc:postgresql://localhost/sogo
Database username: sogo
Database password: sogo
You can then do the same (and specify the same database connection information) for events
and tasks using sogo-cal and sogo-todo as sync source names and URI.

No mentioning a sogo-cal

And is "todo" same as "task" in the
calendar?
Yes
