I know, we had the same here - that was the reason for my question. Disabling the master pwd helped us (first), but better is using a plugin preventing the multiple pwd requests - you'll find it at Mozzilla-Addons, search for "Master pwd" or sthe (sorry, I forgot the plugin name :-/ )
