No, it will save draft emails there before saving them into the Drafts
folder of the user.
AFAIK this is in order to get better performance.

As you didn't send it that is normal behaviour.
When you send it later, it will disappear.

That is because if you unset SOGoMailSpoolPath, SOGo will use its
default /tmp as SOGoMailSpoolPath.

As that is not the same path you used before, it can't delete the
existing one, because it doesn't know about it.
