Take a look at the thread:
ZEG burned to ISO DVD using remastersys

Somewhere in that process you should be able to come up with a process
that works for you.
I do not know if it can be 'ghosted,' but I do not doubt that it could.
It appears to me that converting the ZEG to an ISO is an ideal way to
use it as a bootable DVD or as an alternative to installing it
natively instead of keeping with the virtual machine concept.
It would have been better for me if the ZEG had been as an ISO to begin
with because VMWare could still be used if you wanted. The remastersys
seems to make a usable ISO but the web interface on port 20000 throws an
unhandled error when I log in with sogo1/sogo on the Live boot.

Do you know if the ZEG appliance can be cloned to a real server easily? (the
Ubuntu one already set up with outlook mapi)
I was thinking just dumping the virtual machine's hard disk image to a ghost
image etc... then just ghosting that over to a real hard drive, sticking it
into the server and seeing if it boots. That way I just have to mess with
configs.
