I only asked because I saw the listing of 1.9 in the headers. 1.9.1 is the right extension.

Is there a hint in the following? RFC 5746 on an Apple server?

p01-contacts.icloud.com : server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555

RFC 5746 involves SSL/TLS renegotiations.

Is there a Java applet running on the server? Sometimes a Java applet can cause it to fail.

Here's another pointer:

Beyond that, I can't tell you much about your SOGo configuration.

Just upgraded to Lightning 1.9.1 and still get the same message and never syncs. It never asks for username/password:

Does it make any difference whether it's Lightning 1.9 or Lightning 1.9.1?

I have been playing with the frontend for Thunderbird with the intent to connect to iCloud contacts. So far no success. Regardless of what I put I get
'Not Authorized'. it seems it is expecting Username and Password.
