Hi,

I have a calendar containing 1500+ imported ics items. (exported from google calendar) Accessing it over calDAV works with all clients, except with Korganizer and my Nokia N9 harmattan. (both based on libkcal 4.3, judging on the raw source from the appointments they create)

They both don't display any of the 1500 imported appointments in the calendar, but adding items to the calendar works, and those new appointments DO work on all clients.

I did not understand what was going on, but looking at the SOGo database shows the following:

It looks as if all imported items (via the SOGo webinterace) have c_names in the form of "4DE4-51781380-179-8C92BC0" and "9A5-517D4E00-11D5-12074FE0". All 'handmade' appointments added later (via N9, Kontact, or SOGo web access) seem to have c_names like "ebbbf942-0be8-49f8-9b57-feb303b767e1.ics" and "2953-5166F580-5D-422BA600.ics" so: with an extension.

So the missing extension seems to be the difference between 'handmade' appointments and an imported .ics file. And I'm guessing now that libkcal 4.3 needs the ics extension, and all others also read appointments without the extension.

I'm no expert at all, but does this make any sense? Or am I talking nonsense, and should I be looking somewhere else?

Regards,
MJ
