oh ok the documentation is really outdated i tried to copy the file in Sogo user's home like in  the documentation . I will try to modify the originals

Where did you modify the files? In the original place (after backup) or
copy them into ~/GNUsteps and there?

SOGo not use GNUsteps after 2.0.5...
