personally, in Thunderbird (with sogo-connector) my email is uid@domain 
(instead of firstname.lastname@domain)

and when SOGoHideSystemEMail is set to "YES", my email becomes uid@localhost... 
(not  firstname.lastname@domain..)

in the web interface, all is ok (regardless of the value of SOGoHideSystemEMail)
