Dear Donny, I was able to compile libawl-php on a CentOS 6.4 box just fine. It's a package that you won't find in RPM format, but compilation is easy enough.
On a related note, my favorite fork of Z-Push (https://github.com/fmbiete/Z-Push-contrib/blob/master/INSTALL) seems to not require libawl-php anymore (I haven't tested it myself, as I installed it on the same box where I had compiled libawl-php).
