A month consists of all days of this month.
So a configurable month width is not plausible.
I think what you want is another view variant "multiple weeks" as in
Thunderbird/Lightning.
For that you can define, how many weeks before and how many weeks after
today you want to see.
Unfortunately this is not implemented in SOGo yet.
