Thanks for the input André, I have everything working now.  The only
strange thing in the logs is this error:

This one is normal and can be ignored.

ERRORs should never be considered 'normal'. If by this you mean that the logging itself is 'wrong' and there really is no ERROR, then by all means say so, and that it (the improper logging) will (or should be) fixed, but it certainly isn't (or shouldn't be considered) 'normal'.

Otherwise, the loge mean nothing and cannot reliably be used to troubleshoot real problems.
