- In the sogo native outlook config guide, it says:
Note that joining
Samba 4 to your Active Directory domain as a member will currently not
work. An
authentication bug is present in Samba 4
I'm guessing this 'authentication bug' applies to the inverse samba4.0.1...?
However: Is anyone here using sernet or self-compiled samba4? Is that
authentication bug fixed in those more recent samba4's? In which case,
would adding SOGo as a domain member server then work ok?
I'm asking, because I'm currently running a sernet-samba-4.1.6 AD, and
feel a little bit unsure adding a Domain Controller, running a
so-much-older samba version.
Anyone with some tricks, do's and dont's, extra info?
