From the Inverse documentation "SOGo Native Microsoft Outlook Configuration" Section "Adding Users": "If you don’t have a trust between your IMAP server and SOGo, you must at this point set the clear text password of the newly created user in /var/lib/samba4/private/mapistore/<user-name>/password (or /var/lib/samba/private/mapistore/<user-name>/password on Debian-based distributions). This per-user file contains the clear text password of the user as a UTF-8 string, on a single line.
