Of course not. Joining samba4 as additional DC replaces provisioning step and domain data is replicated from Windows server. More interesting question would be if it is still required to join openchange server as additional DC. I seem to remember on openchange 2.2 roadmap (before the release) there was a plan that openchange server running samba4 would be enough to join as domain member server, not additional DC.
