How do you set your end date? Do you set "End:" or do you set "Repeat:" to "Custom..." -> "Repeat until"? If the first, that is wrong! This will set the End of each repeating event. You will create an event that has a longer duration as your repetition interval. These events are created and stored, but not visible in the web interface due to a bug. You have to use the second way.
