Hi Everyone, I am running SOGo 2.2.14, and are trying to integrate Microsoft Outlook 2013 using ActiveSync. Everything is working great, except the following issue related to calendaring:
If the outlook user creates a meeting and invited attendees, I see the following issue #1: Two emails are sent, one from outlook about the meeting and one from SOGo (not important) #2: The VCALENDAR info sent to participants is wrong, making it impossible to accept/decline the meeting. Here is the VCALENDAR from an outlook invite: BEGIN:VCALENDAR PRODID:-//Inverse inc./SOGo 2.2.14//EN VERSION:2.0 METHOD:REQUEST BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:America/Chicago X-LIC-LOCATION:America/Chicago BEGIN:DAYLIGHT TZOFFSETFROM:-0600 TZOFFSETTO:-0500 TZNAME:CDT DTSTART:19700308T020000 RRULE:FREQ=3DYEARLY;BYMONTH=3D3;BYDAY=3D2SU END:DAYLIGHT BEGIN:STANDARD TZOFFSETFROM:-0500 TZOFFSETTO:-0600 TZNAME:CST DTSTART:19701101T020000 RRULE:FREQ=3DYEARLY;BYMONTH=3D11;BYDAY=3D1SU END:STANDARD END:VTIMEZONE BEGIN:VEVENT UID:040000008200E00074C5B7101A82E00800000000100A12099239D00100000000000= 0000 010000000E7696987E0573748A0FAF547AB2B4A2D SUMMARY:abc CLASS:PUBLIC LOCATION:gfg DTSTART;TZID=3DAmerica/Chicago:20150127T130000 DTEND;TZID=3DAmerica/Chicago:20150127T133000 BEGIN:VALARM TRIGGER;VALUE=3DDURATION:-PT15M ACTION:DISPLAY END:VALARM ORGANIZER;PARTSTAT=3DACCEPTED;[email protected]:mailto:tom@bi-games= .com ATTENDEE;PARTSTAT=3DNEEDS-ACTION;CN=3DGisele Smith:mailto:gisele@bi-gam= es.com END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR And here to compare a VCALENDAR invite from the web interface: BEGIN:VCALENDAR PRODID:-//Inverse inc./SOGo 2.2.14//EN VERSION:2.0 METHOD:REQUEST BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:America/Chicago X-LIC-LOCATION:America/Chicago BEGIN:DAYLIGHT TZOFFSETFROM:-0600 TZOFFSETTO:-0500 TZNAME:CDT DTSTART:19700308T020000 RRULE:FREQ=3DYEARLY;BYMONTH=3D3;BYDAY=3D2SU END:DAYLIGHT BEGIN:STANDARD TZOFFSETFROM:-0500 TZOFFSETTO:-0600 TZNAME:CST DTSTART:19701101T020000 RRULE:FREQ=3DYEARLY;BYMONTH=3D11;BYDAY=3D1SU END:STANDARD END:VTIMEZONE BEGIN:VEVENT UID:2A95-54C6D680-3-3590C9C0 SUMMARY:GGRRTT CLASS:PUBLIC ATTENDEE;PARTSTAT=3DNEEDS-ACTION;CN=3DGisele Smith;ROLE=3DREQ-PARTICIPA= NT;RSVP=3DTR UE:mailto:[email protected] ORGANIZER;CN=3DThomas Dillig:mailto:[email protected] CREATED:20150127T000728Z DTSTAMP:20150127T000728Z LAST-MODIFIED:20150127T000728Z DTSTART;TZID=3DAmerica/Chicago:20150127T150000 DTEND;TZID=3DAmerica/Chicago:20150127T160000 TRANSP:OPAQUE END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR The difference seems to be that Outlook 2013 uses the email address as the cn field, which is obviously wrong. But my understanding is that Outlook gets this information from the activeSync settings, at least there is no way to configure this in Outlook I can find. Does anyone have any thoughts on what may be going on? I am happy to look into this more and provide any other information if it helps. Thanks! -Tom -- [email protected] https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
