I changed /etc/sogo/sogo.conf to:

   SOGoCalendarDefaultRoles = (
     PublicViewer,
     ConfidentialDAndTViewer,
     PrivateDAndTViewer
   );

Restarted sogod, then marked the Calendar Entry as "Public",
but my collegue which subscribed to my Calender still sees no details on the
entry, but only "Public" and the time-range.

So still any help is appreciated.

Try this:

stop sogod
stop memcached
start memcached
start sogod

Then test.
