If you do a calendar (may be more than one ?) which should be accessed by everyone in the organ, think of using a special „manager“ user for that; e.g. cal-manager or event-manager …. A real person than get full access to that calendar and can add/change entries. We did this for some calendars because AFAIK you cant move calendars easily to a different account with keeping all subscribers. (one owner, 40 calendars, up to 500 subscribers ….) So if the calendar real owner changes his account name, leaves the company ... the calendar urls/subscriptions are still valid. Just change the „manager“ password. done. In the case of „Any Authenticated User“ all users have to subscribe by there own. Imagine you have a company with 10.000 Users and only 500 need the calendar and the other 9.500 may use it or not … that would be a lot trouble in managing users if the 9.500 have to unsubscribe … AFAIK there is some method of using ldap groups, to break down the ALL or just One subscriber …. my 2 cents .
