Hello everybody, I am having a hard time setting up Thunderbird 31.7.0 with SOGo Connector 31.0.1 (running Ubuntu 14.04) in order to be able to sync my ownCloud 7.0.2 based CardDAV contacts with Thunderbird's address book.
This is what I have done so far: - Logged in to ownCloud as "myuser" and copied the CardDAV link of the ownCloud's address book which I want to sync with Thunderbird. URL looks something like this "https://myserver/cloud/remote.php/carddav/addressbooks/myuser/contacts";. - Inside Thunderbird's address book window, created a new "remote address book". - Used the URL mentioned above inside the remote address book's properties (left everything unchanged). - The remote address book appears, but nothing happens. (I would have expected that the contacts are synced from ownCloud and appear in Thunderbird's address book window. - When I right click on the remote address book, the "synchronize" menu item is grayed out. Any idea, what might be the reason, that SoGo connector does not seem to be working? (Same ownCloud contacts works with my Android, iOS and Mac OS X, so it does not seem to be a ownCloud-based problem.) Thanks in advance! Thomas -- [email protected] https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
