You may try to empty your browser's cache or use Google Chrome; Angular
Material is still in development and the select menu has been recently
modified. Some bugs were introduced a few days ago and fixed this afternoon ..
I have the same behaviour, ff 38.4 esr (win7), ff 42 (XP), ff for
android 42.0.2, IE 11.0.9600.18097 (win7), chrome 47.0.2526.80 m (XP),
all the same. In this beta I see many good improvements, but any list
selector is not responding at all, to me (lang selector, both on login
page and prefs) I get "TypeError: selectScope is undefined
angular-material.js:13527:8" error in the browser console
