Dear all,

I am running SOGo (2.3.6, installed with iRedmail and updated) on CentOS
7.2, and tried to tune for EAS use referring to the documentation,pg.50ff.
If I uncomment the ProxyPass line in /etc/sogo/sogo.conf

    //

        ProxyPass /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync \

                http://127.0.0.1:20000/SOGo/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync \

                retry=60 connectiontimeout=5 timeout=360

process sogod does not come up, see status:

Redirecting to /bin/systemctl status  sogod.service

● sogod.service - SOGo is a groupware server

   Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/sogod.service; enabled; vendor
preset: disabled)

   Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Tue 2016-01-19 17:20:56 CET; 42s
ago

  Process: 19043 ExecStart=/usr/sbin/sogod -WOWorkersCount ${PREFORK}
-WOPidFile /var/run/sogo/sogo.pid -WOLogFile /var/log/sogo/sogo.log
(code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)

Main PID: 29980 (code=killed, signal=KILL)

Further parameters I changed in /etc/sogo/sogo.conf are:

    SOGoEASDebugEnabled = YES;

    WOWorkersCount = 40;

    SOGoMaximumPingInterval = 354;

    SOGoMaximumSyncInterval = 354;

    SOGoInternalSyncInterval = 30;

    WOWatchDogRequestTimeout = 10;

    SOGoMaximumSyncResponseSize = 512;

    SOGoMaximumSyncWindowSize = 256;

    SxVMemLimit = 512;

And in /etc/sysconfig/sogo

    PREFORK=40

Another problem, maybe linked, is the following error when running sogo-tool
manage-eas with any subcommand: <0x0……….[SOGoCacheGCSObject]:(null)>
Error: initializing a SOGoObject (named 0) without wocontext

or

<0x0……….[SOGoCacheGCSObject]:(null)> Error: initializing a SOGoObject
(named 7FCC465C7BD94F7482E7671456FC77BE) without wocontext

Does anyone have an idea what causes this?

I tried to make these changes because synchronization is very erratic in
ActiveSync environment, regardless if Outlook (2013, 2016), iPhone or
Android devices.

Many thanks for any advice

Andreas Blaha
