I have successfully used "complete mail address" to login in Outlook.
If you create your account using openchange_newuser, you could check your
.ldb file.
( Ex: ldbedit -H
/usr/local/samba/private/sam.ldb.d/DC\=EXAMPLE\,DC\=COM.ldb ).
There's one attribute named "userPrincipalName". It could be inserted as
[email protected]@example.com.
If so, try removing the redundant "@DOMAIN" and try login in Outlook again.
