That will not work, because V3 will remove V2 while installing. You would have to compile and install V3 via sources and change default installation paths. Afterwards you have to change the port V3 is listening on, and create another vhost for apache, which points to the V3 sogod. Databse, LDAP/AD, SMTP and IMAP memcached should be shared.
