Hi people, I don't know if it's a bug (or not, I guess yes) when I setup with my android device "carddav" on my android device, I get autoamticly 2 contacts "Personal Contacts" displayed to choose. Even if I choose only 1, I get 2 addressbooks to register, which is totally strange.
After choosing only 1 addressbook which "CardDAV" offers me, 2 addressbooks are still created: 1 x the addressbook I selected and stored under the name "business" and one again under it's name "Personal Adressbook". My configuration: 1 x personal (provder posteo.de) 1 x business (SOGo) Result: On Android Accounts, "CardDAV" is listed 2 x times. 1 x Carddav - inside is private and personal (OK) private can be synced business can't be synced 1 x Carddav Addressbook - Personal Addressbook (business) Personal Addressbook (business) is syncable I expect: 1 x Carddav - inside is private and personal (OK) where private is the private account from the other provider, and business is the "Personal Addressbook" Used System & Software: Android 5.1.1 on Samsung Galaxy S5 NEO I forwarded this Mail to the developer of the software as well, to see if it's an error of yours or his. best, Tamer -- [email protected] https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
