Hi,

I have setup a new server with SOGo V3, i use SOGo V2 many years with
~20 users.

I need activesync and openchange so i have installed Samba4, same as
sogo v2...

I read the install doc to see what changed between v2 and v3 and
surprisseeeeddd in my sogo.log :

Jun 15 01:10:51 sogod [1657]: [ERROR] <0x0x55d7f7df2760[LDAPSource]>
Could not bind to the LDAP serverldap://127.0.0.1:389/ (389) using the
bind DN: cn=xxxxxxxx,cn=Users,dc=xxxxxxx,dc=xx
Jun 15 01:10:51 sogod [1657]: [ERROR] <0x0x55d7f7df2760[LDAPSource]>
<NSException: 0x55d7f7e8c550> NAME:LDAPException REASON:*operation bind
failed: Strong(er) authentication required (0x8)* INFO:{"error_code" =
8; login = "cn=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx,cn=Users,dc=xxxxxxx,dc=xxxxx"; }

I have already set samba complexity off with : samba-tool domain
passwordsettings set --complexity=off

i have no idea and "Stronger authentication required" is a wrong message
error beacause i use password > 20 carac (~117bits)

do you have an idea ?

There was a samba security update, which introduced new parameters.
I assume, you where hit by that.
See
https://www.samba.org/samba/latest_news.html#4.4.2
Section "New Options and Defaults:"

Try this (/etc/samba/smb.conf, global section):

    tls priority = SECURE192:+SECURE128:-VERS-SSL3.0
    tls enabled = yes
ldap server require strong auth = no
