Meanwhile I found out that max # of connections of the mysql server exhausted. SOGo processes requested more than 150 database connections. I increased the limit to 250 (never had to do that in the last 10 years of working with MySQL). During the last few hours we did not see more than about 60 open connections. Will keep an eye on that.
