Yes
Try starting the sogod daemon manually as the sogo user, like this:
/usr/sbin/sogod -WOUseWatchDog NO -WONoDetach YES -WOPort 20000
-WOWorkersCount 1 -WOLogFile - -WOPidFile /tmp/sogo.pid
Post output.
