Those are addresses from the global address book(s) defined in sogo.conf
in SOGoUserSources with "isAddressBook = YES;".
In the "Installation and Configuration Guide" they are called "shared
address books", which I find misleading.
You can find them in the "Address Book" section of the web interface.
They have a world globe as icon.
Per default you can not see the address cards in those address books.
You have to search for someone in those, in order to see matching
address cards.

If you want to see all your address cards in that global address book,
when opening it, set "listRequiresDot = NO;" in its SOGoUserSource section.
(We do not do that, as that would list all 20,000 users in our LDAP,
which takes some time and bandwidth.)

BTW:
Normally you start searchin when typing more than 3 characters.
That is defined in SOGoSearchMinimumWordLength.

Hope that clarifies it.

Kind regards,
Christian Mack
