Of course it is possible.
Setting it up on the same machine is a lot more complicated than setting
it up on a different machine.
On your web proxy (Apache or nginx) you just have to send your
ActiveSync clients to the dedicated machine.
On the dedicated machine you can run a standard SOGo instance, as you
can use the same Ports and config location on both.

Just be sure, to use the same database/LDAP/AD for both SOGo instances.
