Hi you all,
I have a general question regarding the use of delegated accounts. In SOGo you can delegate you mailbox and your calendar. Both is done using entries in the DB of SOGo and ACLs on the IMAP server.
Now with the new feature of SMTP auth i started to get some Problems here.
We have set

"smtpd_sender_restrictions = reject_sender_login_mismatch"

in Postfix main.cf. With this nobody can send an email from a delegated mailbox nor can they create an event in a delegated calendar and invite somebody (as the invite goes out as the calendar owner).

I can set up an LDAP attribute (eg otherMailbox) where I can add entries if this person is allowed to do this. But this is an additional setting I like to avoid.

Does anybody here have an elegant solution to this?

Could a feature be implemented that actually updates an LDAP attribute when delegating a mailbox/calander?

Regards

Christian
