Hello Which version of SOGo do you use?
Did you try to change the acl via sogo-tool from commandline? In comparison of a normal account to a resource account, the resource account automatically accepts invitations from the same sogo server in its personal calendar, if it is not busy at that time. This does not work for invitations from external people/accounts. You also can define, how many appointments can there be at the same time, before it gets announced as busy. This all has nothing to do with other accounts beeing able to invite an normal or resource account. For that you need to check setting PreventInvitations and PreventInvitationsWhitelist. sogo-tool user-preferences get settings ACCOUNTNAME Calendar|grep --color -e PreventInvitations -e PreventInvitationsWhitelist If PreventInvitations is set to 1 for the invited account and the inviting account is not listed in PreventInvitationsWhitelist, that appointment which tries to invite that account is invalid, and will produce an error message in the web frontend. In clients using calDAV, that error message is not always displayed, but as the appointment is invalid, it will not be possible to store it in SOGo. E.g. Thunderbird is known, to not display that error and silently discarting that appointment. In order for free/busy lookups to work, at least the personal calendar of that account needs DateAndTime access for the inviting account. But you should be able to invite an account even when no free/busy information is available. It should then be shown as always free.
