Hi Sebastien,

the ticket you linked is about a different issue. A single identity needs an 
"active" S/MIME certificate for signing and decrypting current mails. The same 
identity needs "passive" S/MIME certificates for decrypting older mails. Those 
"passive" certificates are not used for signing anymore and have usually 
expired.

What Juergen asks for is the possibility to add S/MIME certificates to each of 
a users identities in each of a users accounts. Seems no ticket exists for this 
issue yet.
