Depends a bit on your tolerance for differences between clusters in the
different data cents. The approach Matthew mentioned of two indexers, one
in each datacenter works well. I've also in the past used the backup/restore
functionality

to do a nightly sync from one cluster to another using something like
Google Cloud Storage as an intermediary.
