I haven’t used DIH before, so I don’t have much experience with it apart from reading the documentation a little. A support customer of ours had a strange question, they say when they run DIH, it makes two connections to the database and indexes documents to Solr (either in parallel or sends the same documents twice, I couldn’t understand that) which puts a lot of stress on their Solr node.
They are using it with SolrCloud 9.4 and MySQL. They are finding the leader replica and sending the updates to it. If you have any comments/ideas it’s much appreciated, we couldn’t figure it out. -ufuk —
