bayes db problem upgrade from 2.63 --> 3.0

I installed spamassassin (test box) from cpan over my existing SA 2.63   Perl –MCPAN –e shell Install Mail::Spamassassin   My current perl version is 5.8.3 Distro Suse 9.1   When I try to sa-learn –sync I get the following “bayes db version 2 is not able to be used, aborting! at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3/Mail/SpamAssassin/BayesStore/DBM.pm line 160”   Also on filtered mail autolearn is always “autolearn = failed”   And any bayes related command poops the error above.  I haven’t been able to find anything about this error.   Any help please!   Bill
