I say it's a configuration issue. Do you have any idea how many of us are running SA via amavisd-new without issue? Lots! I would suggest that you carefully analyze what is different between running SA via amavisd-new and running SA directly - there have got to be some telltale signs of what the problem is: permissions/access denied, incorrect path, file not found, etc... And yes, I load all of the plug-in, run Razor, Pyzor, DCC, SURBL, SPF, RBL/RHSBLs, etc., without issue. Bill
