I run the same type of cronjob on my home system every six hours and have never experienced that error. Jan 30 16:30:02 cpollock spamd[2666]: server killed by SIGTERM, shutting down Jan 30 16:30:06 cpollock spamassassin: spamd shutdown succeeded Jan 30 16:30:08 cpollock spamd[26223]: spamd starting Jan 30 16:30:08 cpollock spamassassin: spamd startup succeeded According to my log it takes a total of 6 seconds from when spamd is killed until its restarted. You may want to check to see if you have about the same time frame otherwise it could be a problem I'd guess. -- Chris Registered Linux User 283774 http://counter.li.org 19:54:56 up 20 days, 2:31, 2 users, load average: 0.71, 1.49, 1.29 Mandrake Linux 10.1 Official, kernel 2.6.8.1-12mdk ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gumperson's Law: The probability of a given event occurring is inversely proportional to its desirability. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Live - Classic Rock - From Virgin Radio UK Led Zeppelin - Thank you -
