I use a plugin that snaps into SquirrelMail; I also use scripts so that Spam is directed into an IMAP 'trash' folder. If you want to check for FPs, there they are, auto-erased after a week, and POP users never see them if they don't want to. Want to deal with your white/black lists, thresholds and stuff? There they are in your webmail. Boom, done.
