Might not be a bad choice. I've never even looked at a stock local.cf from the project in 20 years though. Need to do a vanilla install and see what is in there and where it is generated. What about the docs? Where would you look for this nugget of information as a user? Also: init.pre v330.pre and maybe v340.pre > Well those pre files are pretty specific for new features in those versions.
