Rules Q: chickenpox & weeds

I'm getting ready to upgrade to a new server and have been looking through the rules that I use.  I know that the chickenpox and weeds rules haven't been updated in a very long time.  But have they or a variation of them been incorporated into the new SA releases or new SARE rules?  Should I still download them for my new server or have they been superseded?
