Has anyone run any numbers on how quickly the score of an average spam
increases over time?

I'm using SA just on my own box so have the luxury of being able to
delay likely looking messages for a few hours without any user
complaints!

My current set up is <7.5 is delivered, 7.5-15 is quarantined in a
folder which is looked through every few days, >15 is kept in a folder
which I'll only check if someone complains I'm ignoring them (so far no
FPs in that folder).

What I want to do is reduce the 7.5-15 set to reduce the chances of me
missing a genuine email when scanning that folder. I currently am
delaying anything over 5 by an arbitrary 12 hours and then re-offering
it to SA. Once that's rescanned, anything that's still in the 10-15
range is delayed for another 12 hours.

Obviously, I can work out appropriate delays by trial and error, but I
was wondering if anyone had worked out any stats for how an average
spam's score evolves over time as it's added to the various RBLs?

Cheers,

Alexis Manning
