Sorry for the delay. Well, this is done by amavisd-new so the user who calls SA is "vscan" on my system. But this users does not have an account on the system (no shell) no I cannot "su" to it. cat /etc/passwd | grep vscan vscan:x:65:105:Vscan account:/var/spool/amavis:/bin/false Anyway, this does not seem to be a problem of user rights.
