I expect rule updates to remain compatible throughout the 3.3.x series, so as long as updates are happening for any 3.3.x version, you you should get them, and they should work, with 3.3.1 (and 3.3.0, etc.). That *could* change, I suppose, but I don't expect it. There has been talk of adding a rule to hit all emails for versions nolonger being maintained, something like SPAMASSASSIN_OUT_OF_DATE: https://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=6614 You just noticed the update because *all* sa-updates (for 3.3.x?) were just re-enabled. They had been intentionally disabled for a while.
