Overall, I'm not suggesting -X works for you. I'm suggestion you might
need a new switch and you need to figure out the conditions/patch that
work for you. Then open a ticket with the issue and the patch and it
has a chance of getting into the code. I can't promise it will be
accepted but at the very worst it will give you the framework to
maintain your own local patch.
