If Red Hat is like other packagers then they are depending upon sa-update to populate /var/lib/spamassassin/ with updated rules by cron. Does your version do this? I think it likely that those rules are only missing until sa-update has been run successfully. Perhaps you system has a cron script and it simply needs to be enabled? Bob
