Not only is this type of communication disrespectful to the OP, it is just as disrespectful to the other members of this list as it is clogging their inboxes with garbage. It does not contribute to the usefulness or helpfulness of this list.

The email traffic on the list for the past couple of months has been at least 50% sniping, snarking, and otherwise insulting. It's not only generally annoying, it makes it very hard to separate the worthwhile traffic from the ad hominem. Please, I beg of all of you, refrain from the personal attacks and just provide professional and civil answers. Yes, some people might be asking things that you think are stupid... that's no excuse to be rude. I think we would all appreciate a friendlier, more professional list.
