    I don't see anything in there about verbose logging

Quick points:

1 - The verbose logging (which I don't think is the issue) would be in your postfix master.cf indicated by -v on smtpd. Reviewing the log snippet, I saw nothing that looked like too much logging, anything looping, etc.

2 - I am confused if you have amavis why you would also have spamfilter.sh. I don't use amavisd-new but I'm sure some here do and can comment.
