Hi Frederico,
is it correct that you are using the CLI with "pipeline-element" configuration,
where everything except your processor is running in Docker?
Then you can override the hostname of the backend instance running in Docker
(in deploy/standalone/backend/docker-compose.dev.yml):
version: "3.4"
services:
backend:
environment:
- SP_HOST=host.docker.internal
ports:
- "8030:8030"
You can set SP_HOST to any hostname or IP which matches your local host. This
will override auto-discovery of the backend's IP address and will assign an
externally available hostname to the backend, so that it is reachable from your
data processor.
We'll add this to the documentation.

I have recently migrated to the new version of SP, and I am currently
developing a data processor.
I have followed your tutorial on the documentation, but when I try to start the
processor, I get an error saying:
ERROR o.a.s.c.c.w.m.MasterRestClient - Could not register adapter at url - is a
'StreamPipes Core' service running?
org.apache.streampipes.commons.exceptions.SpRuntimeException: Connect to
172.31.0.12:8030 [/172.31.0.12] failed: Connection timed out: connect
Can you give me more info about it?
Are there other info/ configurations needed that are not in the documentation?
