I have a component that extends BaseComponent.
I would like to implement validation support for this component (just
required) but all the examples of components that I have found that
implement validation are low-level (i.e. PropertySelection) Because
this component uses 3 PropertySelections, I would rather not
programmatically have to create those select elements.
The component is a new DatePicker, rewritten for T4. I based it on the
one in Sundraw (but that was T3 and didn't work for me). It works,
but I have to do the validation check manually myself in my page
listeners....
